Finance Office

Rank and salary commensurate with degree, experience and qualifications. All reclassifications must be approved by the appropriate administrators. Several factors are taken into consideration before the reclassification, including demonstrated increased competencies appropriate to the next higher-level job, performing at a satisfactory level in their current position, and the department must have a genuine need for the higher level work.

Financial Analyst (Level 8)
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.  A minimum five years of significant and progressively responsible experience in budget and financial analysis (Master's degree in the above-mentioned field or must pass at least two parts of the CPA exam and a minimum of three years of significant and progressively responsible experience in budget and financial analysis will be considered). 

Senior Financial Analyst (Level 9)
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.  A minimum seven years of significant and progressively responsible experience in advanced budget and financial analysis (Master's degree in the above-mentioned field or CPA license and a minimum of five years of significant and progressively responsible experience in advanced budget and financial analysis will be considered).
